Story and Comments.: it was Nov. 12th and i had decided to try a different spot at the base of a slope for the mornings hunt. the area was filled with oak trees and several does had been in and out all morning. as i was watching a possum make his way up a tree i heard something comming down the hill behind me, it was a buck, a good buck. the way he was headed he would pass well out of bow range so i grabbed my grunt call and gave 3 short grunts, he stopped in his tracks and looked around, i gave one more grunt and i could'nt believe it, he turned and walked straight to me. at only 10 yards i drew and placed a perfect hit. even though the 100 grain muzzy went through his heart the buck ran about 100 to 150 yards. with and inside spread of 19 inches and G2's that measure 13 and 14 inches he grosses 133 and nets 130 5/8
