Year of Harvest: 2002 Time of Harvest: 6:00 Story and Comments.: I did not start hunting until I moved to Ohio after college. I usually take my limit, but had not taken a trophy deer until November 2, 2002. I was in my stand at 5:20 AM and when first light came, I saw this deer about 250 yards from my stand in an open field. After a half hour wait, he walked into one of my shooting lanes and my Horton EXP Crossbow performed admirably at 20 yards. He only ran 25 yards before he went down for good. As impressed as I was with his rack, I was even more impressed by his weight; 232lbs. field dressed. Needless to say, I needed some help getting him out of the woods. He hasn't been officially scored yet, but rough scores put him in the B&C 160 pointy category. He will have some deductions due to fly larva damage to the end of the main beam on the left hand side
