Story and Comments.: I was lucky enough to take this buck opening day of the 2005 season. I dont know how but outta nowhere he was below me and I stood up in my stand, leaned against my tree and fired. He ran like nuthing fazed him. Shocked I didnt even load another round. LOL not used to deer running when I shoot them. Shotguns do wonders but my rifle took a bit. As I watched him running away just outta my view he crashed and rolled head over end down the ridge. I knew exactly what he was because he crash no less than 80 yrds from my brother. BOY was he ticked. lol.... We dare not talk to him bout this deer, BUT it was my first 8 point.
