Year of Harvest: 2002 Time of Harvest: 8:30 Story and Comments.: It was my first year of hunting on the first day of the season. I was hunting with my dad in a ground blind he had made before season. It was around 8:30 am, a herd of deer was coming down the hollow. when they got across from us they stopped. My dad told me to get on one knee and rest my gun on the side of the blind. I did so and when I shot deer ran everywhere. even the one I shot it went 75 yds. I was useing my 260 rem. that my great uncle got me I hit her in the front shoulder. It was a great experence.
