Story and Comments.: I shot this buck on October 30th. I was actually chasing a different buck. I left work and headed straight for the woods. After settling in a tree that has produced for me before, a coouple of does came in. They seemed spooky when they walked right under me. Few minutes later I see this big guy rubbing on a sappling 60yards out. He actually ripped the sappling out of the ground. He started towards me on the same trail that the does did. He came in like he was on a string. I grabbed my DXT and at 15 yards put one rite through him. he ran only 50 yards. Special thanks to my dad for helping me drag him out.
