My boyfriend started taking me archery hunting this year. On my first day hunting he set me up in a tree stand and I killed a nice ten point with my bow!! (I used my Martin bow that my dad gave me for christmas). My boyfriend is super jealus because I hunted a total of three hours and killed a bigger buck with my bow then he ever did! hehe... [greentoung]

Congrats on a dandy buck, Hopefully that luck of yours continues. Ive been hunting the sparty area for a long time and have had the opportinity to take good bucks. Missed two good ones myself this year.

I understand your boyfriends thought process, I did the same thing with my sister a few years back putting her in one of my best stands. She shot a 23 inch inside spread 8 pt that I seen the week prior. As much as I was disapointed that she shot it(and not me) I couldnt have been more excited at the same time. I ended up shooting a 9 pt the same day from the other stand in the evening. One of my favorite years in the woods to date.

Be excited and brag all year, you deserve it

Nice buck looks like someone has some kissing up to do. There is nothing better than team work on a hunt especially when it all comes together. The first saturdayof the season i set my brother up in my honey hole near my house and by 4:30 he had shot his first buck with a bow a small 3 pointer. Hey it didnt matter what size or anything i was just happy to see him get a deer and for our plans to come together. [Love Pabucks]
