Does anyone have a favorite meat grinder.

My meat grinder is home made. I bought a Porkert 265 hand grinder and had a friend of mine machine the auger shaft to accept a pulley. I then found a electric motor that only turns about 30 Rpm and I put the smallest pulley on the shaft that I could find and I bought a belt and it works good, but I feel that I need to find a larger meat grinder.

Any Idea's?

Mine is a #32 grinder mounted beside a 1/3 hp motor with a belt and pulleys connecting them. I recommend putting either an idler pulley for adding tension, or using sprockets and a chain. When it gets jammed the belt just slips on the small motor pulley. I use it a stuffer too for bologna to get that twice ground texture, but for sausage I use a manual stuffer.
