Check out this buck killed by a guy in Clarion county. Over 400 pounds and may be bidding for the heaviest buck killed in pa.

I have seen that buck on other web sites. Its not a Pa deer at least thats what the general consensus is. Alot have said that it is photo shopped too. If a big boy like that was shot in Pa that is all you would hear about for years.

I dont think thats PA....The Forest type is that of the midwest..It appears in the photo..there's a hunter and 2 outfitters or guides. I would say..The dakotas..kansas or Nebraska..any of those midwestern states.

Im looking at several of those pictures pretty hard, and to me it looks like some of those might be photo chopped, I may be wrong, but it sure doesnt look "right"....

Like in the first pic at the end of the antler where the guys hand is, it looks as if the antler splits and comes down lower on the other side of the hand, the 3rd picture down, look how little the back end/back leg looks, but im probably wrong [talker]

there are pictures of deer like this every year... so far not one of them that I know of has turned out to be legitimate. I doubt this is the first.

Those same photos came up on ARCHERYTALK.COM last year. And I believe then it said the buck was harvested in Wisconson or Alberta. And I'm pretty sure they proved it was photo shopped, I think some other photos were posted later.

had the original post said it was in Wisconsin... i may have believed it... haha! Yeah, a bit of photoshop work and also just dealing with perspectives. Notice how the buck is always way out in front of everybody making it appear so much larger than the people

a good example is in the second picture. Look how long that bow looks... the axle to axle appears to be over 4 feet!

To shed some light on this subject read the article at this website and see what you think.
http://www.snopes.com/photos/hunting/412deer.asp

The only for sure thing is that this guy is looking for some kick back as in endorsements from various company's products that he was using.
Sure the buck is huge, but if you shoot a monster wouldn't you want to weigh it a more conventional way with one of those new products that came out around 100 years ago called a SCALE? The only thing that I know of that gets weighed with a tape measure is a cow and even then you use it to get a rough idea of what the animal weighs. I bet there is days ole Stan wishes he never shot that buck seeing all the flack he is taking from everyone. If he would of just taken it to the game commission in Nebraska, he may have been a state record holder as we speak.
