It was very good. I thought it was wierd how Oboma kept stairing down McCain and yet McCain never really looked at Oboma. Due to several of Oboma's comments it really showed how inexperienced Oboma really is and (much like the antilists said) Oboma really had a lot of uncertainty in his voice. Several comments it looked like he wasen't sure exactally how to responed and in turn just decided to bash McCain's plan or comments on the issue.

Nothing real exciting that hurt or helped either side I thought. I wish McCain would have went into more detail and said how oboma was ready to sign off on Poulsin's bail-out on the backs of the American people. Your right old timer, he sure did agree with John alot! Notice how he kept trying to tie McCain to Bush.
I was amazed though to see an undecided poll group, who was split evenly on the last election of Bush / Kerry, had more leaning towards obama after the debate. This was on FOXnews. A lot of them said it was due to his politeness and charisma. |

"Politeness and charisma" aren't what I want in a leader. Give me a grouchy old harda$$ over a cosmopolitan wuzzy anyday. The debate was supposed to be about National Defense and it went on for 40 minutes covering the bailout BS.

I hear ya. Me too. I also prefer a military man in office as well, since he is the commander in chief.
The debate was also given or sponsored by PBS... nuff said! |

If you look at history, true military men are the Presidents who have exhausted diplomacy first to keep us out of wars. McCain knows what it is all about and the importance of diplomacy and a strong military, BO is clueless.
Did anyone else notice that BO was being prompted by someone in the audience? The camera caught him repeatedly nodding in compliance with someone off camera throughout the debate. Maybe it was a hand signal teleprompter. |

The debate left no doubt about which man should be President. I think Obama will now be voting for McCain too!
The media started spinning it into a "tie" that is good for Obama as soon as they could. It is interesting that right after the debate polls showed that over 80% of observers went with McCain but by the next morining the news reported an Obama win ![[sad3]](images/smiles/sad3.gif "sad3") It reminds me of the old Russian propoganda machine days. |
