Time to dust off the Bow and get serious...The Ohio Giants are starting to move during daylight hours . Going to start hunting Ohio next weekend.

Have 2 reports just in ...the boys in Ohio have 2 bucks down...a 148 inch 8 point and a 154 7/8 inch 10 point...Both taken in the last couple days.

Stinkin 5 hour long drive keeps me from taking short hunting trips. Gotta make it one long hunt..maybe 4 or 5 days..ill spend every minute of daylight in a tree.

I have to drive 5 hours north to hunt in Northern Wisconsin... I don't enjoy making that trip often. It's a 3 hour drive from college to home to hunt.

Received this picture today from my buddy..He and I went to Ohio about 2 weeks ago to check on a peice of property he can hunt but I cant...He set up some trail camaras which i thought was not a good idea this close to the season..but anyhow,,he had to run back to ohio this week for Work..he picked up his camaras and he sent me this pic...this pic was sent to my cell phone then i had to convert it to my computer to get it on here...So..the quality is horrible...Man..he is a brute. True Ohio Giant. Oh..BTW..Pic taken at 1pm dam bucks know when to move and when not to.....Thats why I stay in my stand all day

Im outta here..I hope everyone gets a chance at a monster...Stay in your stand..even when things seem like there's not a deer for mile around ..stay in your stand..It only takes 10 secs. for it all to happen.

Got back from Ohio..Had a good 4 days of hunting..I saw 10 bucks and 2 does from my stand...One buck looked like he might have went 140 inches..Couldnt get a shot..I also saw a 120 inch buck and about a 110" buck..the rest were yearlings...Only saw 2 does ...The heat kept them from moving....My buddy faired better..He got a 136 inch buck...He saw one giant buck..maybe 160 inches and the rest were small...He got his buck on wednesday at 3:00pm..70 degrees..It pays to stay in your stand all day.

Well ..1 out of 2 is not bad..I still have shotgun season but I surely would of liked to get a monster with the Bow

Here's my buddies buck..He got the buck on the 37th hour on stand. I was on stand 46 hours...and let me tell ya..it aint easy..legs cramp up..mental torture..Time seems like it sits still..But I know thats what it takes
