I can stay in it all day with no discomfort afterwards. I am 60 years old and use it every time I hunt which is almost every hunting day of deer season. Last year I hunted every day of the season for at least a couple of hours each day. I have tried hunting on the ground but I don't have very good results with that method.If one is very careful the setup can be quiet but most of the time there is some metal noise during setup or takedown. Marc: I purchased the new Tree-Lounge with the bow-hunting adapter. While the overall weight puts it in the mid-20lb range with access. The comfort is exceptional and the safety factor seems very good. Mark: The tree lounge is by far the safest tree stand ever built beacuse of it's cantilever operation, However it is not the tree stand you want to carry in the woods to far not bad for flat open terrain but in rugged high peaks it's heavy 45lbs with bow platform. If you have a atv to set it up prior to the hunt like I do it's the best tree stand ever. No tree stand can compare to saftey and comfort at 25-30ft up.
