Bix:
This stand is very similar to the treelounge. The design is exactly the same. The Doc's has a buitl in shooter rail. It is a little quicker to set up than the treelounge, it has locking pins instead of nuts and bolts. Heavy, yes this stand is heavy, but if you want safety and comfort and ability to climb a numerious amount of trees this is the stand for it. My attitude when I take it hunting, is I can't get high enough in it. I routinely hunt 25 to 35 feet off the ground in it, with no worries of slipping or falling. I have a loggy bayou and have owned it for over 10 years, it is a great stand, but far to uncomfortable for me to sit all day and hunt, and it is not nearly as safe.

Danny............
The only stand I have ever had I can stay ALL DAY. I sat 13 hrs. without coming down and was never uncomfortable. Take your dinner, climb HIGH , you'll love it.

Jack..........I hate this stand.

It's noisy to use. You may as well have to walk around the block as try to go from the sitting position to where you can shoot a bow out of it.

Once you get standing up to shoot it bounces like a diving board for a "more challenging" moving shot.

It's heavier and more cumbersome than an onion sack full of boat anchors.
